What are your areas of specialty?

Mergers and acquisition and capital markets; banking and corporate finance law; corporate law; estate planning.

What kind of matters do you enjoy the most?

Corporate finance projects, corporate structuring and incorporation and also advises on estate planning matters.

What is the most impactful work you have done throughout your career?

No matter the amounts at stake, each case affects the parties involved. I believe a good lawyer who resolves challenging situations for his client, does an impactful work. I believe all matters I work for with my clients are impactful.

Tell us about your academic and professional background.

I graduated with a bilingual Bachelor of Law (French/German) from the University of Fribourg, Switzerland in 2014. During my undergraduate studies, I participated in the Alabama Exchange Program in collaboration with the University of Alabama, USA. I also completed and got a certification in International and Comparative Business Law at the Bucerius Law School, Hamburg, Germany in 2015.

I later obtained a Masters from the University of Fribourg as well as a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Legal Professions from the University of Geneva in 2017. I was admitted to the Geneva Bar 2 years after, in March 2019.

Prior to joining lecocqassociate in July 2019, I completed an eighteen-month traineeship in a Geneva-based law firm where I gained exposure to the areas of inheritance and family law, lease and employment contracts, corporate law and criminal business law. I also acquired experience in banking matters by working at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in the Regulatory & Compliance department.

How many languages do you speak?

I speak French, English and German.

What made you want to be a solicitor / lawyer?

Being naturally at ease in interpersonal relationships, I like to put my communication skills and empathy at the service of my clients.

These skills and the challenge and diversity that the profession allows led me to become a lawyer.

Business aside, what do you enjoy doing when you are not in the office?

In my spare time, I’m an avid partisan of good wine and enjoy traveling.

What is your secret talent?

I bust a rock & roll move every time I get the chance.
