What are your areas of specialty?

Corporate and regulatory matters.

What kind of matters do you enjoy the most?

I enjoy working on a variety of matters –it definitely adds color to my work life and makes me more insightful. The different types of matters helps me understand different business models and thereby give a more holistic advise to clients .

What is the most impactful work you have done throughout your career?

I have worked on public interest litigation and environmental matters during my time in India. From time to time, I enjoy working on matters that benefit the society as a whole.

Tell us about your academic and professional background.

I completed my five year integrated course from New Delhi, India and cleared my bar examination in the year 2013. Thereafter, I have worked with prominent law firms as a corporate associate in New Delhi for a period of three years. In 2017, I relocated to Dubai and worked as a corporate finance paralegal for a period of two years and as a legal consultant before joining lecocqassociate. I joined lecocqassociate in the year 2022.

How many languages do you speak?

I speak English and Hindi fluently. I also understand French and have an intermediate diploma in French.

What made you want to be a solicitor / lawyer?

My grandmother always wanted to pursue law as career however she become a political science professor instead. She kindled my interest and encouraged me to study law.

Business aside, what do you enjoy doing when you are not in the office?

I enjoy traveling, swimming and food tastings.

What is your secret talent?

I can nap to destress myself.
