What does your role entail at lecocqassociate?

At Lecocqassociate LTD I work as a virtual assistant for the various needs of members. I take care of organising calls and meetings, both online and in person, I manage the calendar of some associates, I supervise correspondence. I manage the Timesheet, monitor the hours of the associates of all three different departments in Malta, Geneva and Dubai. I manage the business travels of my department and in particular I take care of the business and personal travels of my Manager Dominique Lecocq.

Tell us about your academic and professional background.

My academic background is purely artistic. For 10 years, I studied Opera Singing at the Conservatory and Education and New Media Education at the University. I got two degrees. For 10 years I have been a professional singer in Italy, I have done many concerts both choral and solo in the field of classical, jazz and pop music.

I organized my own communication, sales and marketing management. While I was studying to become a singer, I worked as a secretary, press officer, social media manager and founded and managed a modern music academy for 8 years. After finishing my music studies, I studied marketing, digital communication and copywriting to learn how to sell my music courses and shows.

The organization and management of communications made me discover new passions besides music, which today, thanks to the Lecocqassociate LTD company, I am able to enhance, improve and valorize, using my emotional intelligence gained from my musical studies as an added value for this company.

What do you consider to be your biggest professional achievement?

My greatest professional success was the 200-seat sell-out for my first theatre and music show at the "Circolo dei Lettori" in Turin. The national press wrote a wonderful article, highlighting the care I put into the small details: from the hall booklet to the acoustics, which were perfect. It was very emotional and I will always remember it.

What is the most impactful thing you have done?

The most impactful thing I want to do I haven't done yet, but among the things I have done, I wrote, hosted and personally managed a radio program called "Swingology", which had a significant social impact in my niche of fellow musicians and jazz music lovers. The radio program was based on an in-depth look at jazz-manouche as a genre and hosted many of the most famous Italian jazz and jazz manouche musicians in the world, allowing me to get to know their stories and their lives through music.

How many languages do you speak?

I speak Italian, Sicilian, English, French and German.Sicilian is my mother tongue, Italian is the national language of the place where I grew up and studied. English has reached a high level and is getting better and better while living in Malta. French and German, I have studied but not practicing them on a daily basis, my command is limited to short conversations on occasion.

What drives you?

I am driven by a thirst for knowledge and discovery of what fascinates me and learning how to do it in order to always overcome my limits and live outside of any comfort zone. In addition to a thirst for personal knowledge, a great desire to take care of the needs of others in order to contribute to creating something important. From a professional point of view, I am driven by the desire to perfect myself every day to overcome my limits as a human being, to achieve something great. I hope that with the kindness I put into every word or action, I can help my planet every day with my small contribution.

Business aside, what do you enjoy doing when you are not in the office?

When I'm not in the office I like to walk a lot, I love hiking, being in nature for hours. I like watching videos of recipe creations and making them. In my free time I spend many hours cooking and it relaxes me a lot. I meditate, exercise for my mind, play with my little dog, I play piano and guitar, I wrote some songs and enjoy the invaluable presence of my partner, with whom I am building my own family.

What is your secret talent?

My secret talent is the ability to see beyond. By this I mean the ability to see things in power with regard to everything that does not yet exist and to imagine it as it could be. I always see what I am knowing and observing, better than it appears to me and I am often of great use in making interesting changes to transform the vision from idea to reality. I can put this talent to good use with family, friends, objects and places, always making them better than when I met them through my advice.
